Registration

In order to vote and submit stories, you must first register for an account. To do so go to the registration page";?>
Once there you will need to provide some information to set up your account.

After you have created your account, you are free to update your profile, submit a new story, vote on stories and comments, and leave comments.

Submitting Stories

If you have found a story, photo, or video you would like to submit, go to the submit page";?> Here you will enter the URL or web address of the story. When you click submit, the URL will be checked to make sure it's valid. Assuming it is, you will be directed to a new page where you will be able to give it a title and description. You also can assign it to a category and give it some tags to help categorize what its about.

Once submitted, other users will be able to see it to post comments and vote on it.

Make sure to give it a good title and description.

Editing Your Profile

Each user has his/her own profile to let other users know a little bit about them. To edit it, go to your account page";?> Here you will be able to change your password, give yourself an avatar, as well as give some other info about yourself.

Be sure to be careful what you put in your profile as the entire world can see it.

Changing your Password

If you need to change your password, go to your account page";?> and use the change password field to change it.

Voting on Stories

Each story has a voting button next to the story's title. If you like the story, click on the up arrow and you can vote it up. If you don't like it, or if it's spam, you can vote it down.

Be sure to read the story to make sure that you like it as well as to make sure that the title is not misinforming what the story is actually about.

Be careful about voting stories down, not being interested in a story does not mean that its a bad story.

Voting on Comments

Each comment has a voting button next to it. If you like the what the user had to say, click on the up arrow and you can vote it up. If you don't like it, or if it's spam, you can vote it down.

Be careful about voting comments down, everyone is entitled to their own views so show a little respect, it can go a long way.

Reporting

Every story, user, and comment has a report link attached to it. If the user is spamming, not being nice you can click the report link to report the user and the admins will look into it. If a story or comment follows the same pattern, they can also be reported and looked into by the site admins.

Navigating the Site

The top bar shows a list of the categories. Click on the category you want and all the popular stories in that category will be displayed to you. You can also click the upcoming link to see stories recently submitted. Just because its not popular yet, doesn't mean that its not deserving of becoming popular.

Search

Can't find something you like? The search bar at the top can allow you to search for stories by keywords or by tags.
