We promise not to disclose your private information to any third party except if required to do so by law, or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal process, respond to claims, or to protect the rights, property or safety of HeavyAsHell.com users or the public. We take all reasonable care in handling your personal information to ensure its security both offline and online.

Types of Information We Collect
You are free to browse HeavyAsHell.com without submitting any personal information at all. Your IP address (your current Internet address) is stored in the server logs at the time of your visit, as it is on all web sites. We do not collect any personal information (such as a name, address or e-mail address) when you visit the site unless you register for the site.

Contests:
We like to run all contests through our blog so that we do not have to request any more information from our users than we need to. If the prize for said contest is a tangible item, we will ask for a mailing address from the winners only. We will ask for that information through the email address you provided when registering for the blog section of the site. We will discard this information after each contest prize is sent out. We will never store this information beyond what we need to send you your prize.

Requesting info through email
HeavyAsHell will never request any info of any kind through email. If you are sent an email that requests personal info of any kind from any website (including ours), delete it and contact the website administration of that website.
